Because this profound struggle is close to home for so many of us, With the help of Hindley Golf Club I am driven to raise the maximum possible funds for the exceptional charity, Dementia UK.

Our Goal: We are driven to raise the maximum possible funds for the exceptional charity, Dementia UK, ensuring they can provide specialist Admiral Nurses and vital support to families navigating the complexities of this disease. About The Day
Join us for an incredible charity event in the North West of England! Businesses from all over are invited to participate for a chance to win fantastic prizes, including signed memorabilia, PGA golf course tickets, and American golf vouchers.
The event kicks off with a shotgun start 12pm sharp, where teams of four will compete for up to £400 in vouchers, as well as awards for longest drive and nearest the pin.
Each participating business will have a designated hole for advertising, featured on the clubhouse screen and in newsletter sent to over 300 people. Plus, the winning team enjoy a special 1-21 meal with me as a thank you!

Our Personal Commitment: Why Dementia?

The true genesis of this fundraising initiative lies in a deeply affecting personal story. During a conversation with a wonderful lady in York, I heard firsthand the raw pain of watching her mother succumb to dementia a few years prior. In her eyes and tone, the sheer horror of the experience was palpable—the slow, agonising deterioration of her mother's personality, the loss of basic daily function, and the distress caused by poor treatment in an overburdened care system.

This story struck a profound chord within me. Witnessing that residual grief convinced me of the urgency to act. My hope is that the funds raised will offer comfort and expert care, helping even a single family navigate the true horrors of this illness and find peace where others did not.
